Annelise Ross
Hello! I am a therapist who loves connecting with people and learning their stories. I love to get curious, practice compassion, and am deeply interested in helping clients discover their own strength and resilience. My approach blends trauma-informed care with evidence-based practices like DBT and IFS, along with mindfulness, somatic awareness, and movement. I bring modalities and interventions into my work only after experiencing them myself and discovering their value and power through my own healing. As a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 500), I’ve explored how trauma is held in the body and how embodied practices can support healing. I believe our bodies hold wisdom and that nurturing a kind, compassionate relationship with ourselves is the foundation for lasting growth.
Open-minded and spiritually curious, I draw inspiration from diverse cultures, beliefs, and practices. In my work, I practice holding whatever spiritual path you are on with tenderness and a sense of sacred respect. I value humor, play, and joy just as much as I honor grief, pain, and the moments that feel impossible. I am a lifelong learner who is continually growing through study, reflection, and the lessons my clients generously share.
Outside the therapy room, I love to dance, practice yoga, travel, spend time in nature, listen to music, and share laughter and connection with my children, family, and friends.
