Looking for a worthwhile way to give back? Do you have a special connection or talent that could benefit our clients? Project Connection is looking for volunteers to help bring meaningful connections and experiences into the lives of our clients and support them in their mental health journey.
Are you involved in a group, club or organization that is interested in taking on new members? Our Connect Team would love to hear from you! Please contact us at 385-441-4900.
Project Connection is dedicated to decreasing the stigma of mental illness through education and training, and is available to present to your organization on suicide prevention, shame resilience, trauma recovery and our community integration model. We are also happy to talk to you about a presentation that would meet your organization's specific needs.
CRITICAL TIME INTERVENTION (CTI):
Critical Time Intervention (CTI) is an empirically supported, time limited case management model designed to improve outcomes and decrease recidivism for people with mental illness following discharge from hospitals and inpatient mental health facilities. Our CTI Team provides person- centered case management services over a 9-month, 3 phase timeline with a goal to increase participant's access to resources and help them connect to the community in meaningful ways.
SCHOOL-BASED MENTAL HEALTH:
Project Connection is contracted to provide location-based mental health services in a variety of school settings. These services allow for children to receive mental health therapy in a trusted environment while improving overall access to care and allowing for coordinated social-emotional learning. This integration decreases symptoms that impair wellness and learning. Project Connection also provides trauma-informed training to school staff in order to increase mental health awareness.
Respite provides an opportunity for children with mental health needs, ages 7-18, to build relationships and experience community integration activities while providing time for their parents or caregivers to foster other relationships, complete daily tasks and engage in self-care.
